The TKED1 has been uniquely and specifically designed to detect these discharges safely, protecting the user whilst a motor or machinery is in motion. No special training is needed to use the detector and no touching of machinery is required. The EDD pen comes with an LED back lit screen which assists users in dark environments, it also features an antenna and ergonomic grip. Capable of detecting discharges on a time base of 10 seconds, 30 seconds or indefinite, this device can significantly prevent unplanned machinery downtime.
