• RS Pro Flexible EPDM Edge Protector Strip with Sealing Section. From RS Pro a high-quality flexible edge protector strip or edging strip made from EPDM rubber with a hollow sponge rubber sealing section bonded to it. This rubber edge protector strip performs two functions; the edge protector covers and protects the sharp edges of sheet material such as metal panels and the sponge rubber section provides additional sealing. The edge protector strip has a robust design which consists of a U shaped metal insert strip covered in an extruded black EPDM coating. A looped wire carrier is incorporated inside the strip. The edge protection strip is simply pressed into place by hand and the lips in the EPDM coating and teeth in the metal insert hold the inserted edge in place using a clamping effect. There is no need for any additional preparatory work, tooling or adhesives.
