This series of laser diode modules is an OEM device and complies with BS (EN) 60825 emission standards. It is recommended that you consult this standard and data sheet before using a laser. If a laser of 1 mW or more is applied directly to the eyes, serious eye problems may occur.
Beta CW Series
Global Laser's Beta CW Series consists of high-quality continuous-wave visible laser diode modules. This module combines laser diodes, driver circuitry and collimator lenses in a black powder coated brass body. Module body electrically insulated Beta CW laser module also has high quality adjustable lenses. A standard unit delivers a highly parallel beam The spot size of a visible laser can be adjusted by aiming the beam at an appropriate target and using the included focusing tool. This adjustment makes the Beta CW laser ideal for alignment, position sensing, and aiming applications. The 635 nm visible light module is 8 times brighter than the 670 nm module, making it ideal for applications where visibility is critical. The line generator unit emits a fan-shaped beam with an angle of 16°. The wide-angle line generator unit emits a fan-shaped beam with an angle of 106°.
