Description

The Pathatrix® 10 Pooling E. coli O157:H7 Kit when used with the Pathatrix® Auto Instrument permits the concentration and isolation of E. coli O157:H7 bacteria from pre-enriched food and environmental samples for downstream detection by PCR immunoassay or culture. This kit format supports pooling of 10 enriched samples into a single test.

When used with the Pathatrix® Auto Instrument the Pathatrix® 10 Pooling E. coli O157:H7 Kit:
• Helps save money – supports pooling protocols that save up to 90% on downstream detection costs
• Minimizes false positive and indeterminate rates – isolates specific bacteria from background flora and PCR inhibitors
• Reduces time-to-results – concentrates target organisms so less enrichment time is required

Each kit includes one vial of antibody-coated beads and sufficient numbers of sterile single-use plastic consumables for 50 pooled tests (500 individual enriched samples).
