This Taqman® assay provides a simple reliable and rapid procedure for detecting the presence of a specific bacterial or viral target. PCR is used to amplify a DNA target unique to the microorganism then TaqMan® probe is used to detect and quantify the target in a easy-to-use single tube format. This assay enables microbial detection capabilities with high-confidence results to will help accelerate your food and environmental testing needs. It has been optimized for use with the included Environmental Master Mix; a negative control is not included with this assay.
