Description

This Taqman® assay provides a simple reliable and rapid procedure for detecting the presence of a specific bacterial or viral target. PCR is used to amplify a DNA target unique to the microorganism then TaqMan® probe is used to detect and quantify the target in a easy-to-use single tube format. This assay enables microbial detection capabilities with high-confidence results to will help accelerate your food and environmental testing needs. The assay design is based on US EPA published guidelines and validated by the EPA. The assay has been optimized for use with the included Environmental Master Mix; a negative control is not included with this assay.
