Robotic Benchtop Powder Dispenser Module

The benchtop SDB-1R is an automated version of the SDB-1 dispenser for batch processing of microtubes or vials. The dispenser is operated via touch screen controller which synchronises dispensing and the moving of the vial rack.

The SDB-1R  can be deployed for automated dispensing into up to four  wellplates as well as racks of microtubes or vials. The system is controlled from a touch screen controller in the front bezel. Different tube rack formats can be programmed. 

This solution increases productivity by enabling “walk-away” time of lab operators and alleviates tedious repetitive tasks and improves productivity and process quality.

One staff can operate a number of these robotic systems in parallel

Workflow

• Tube, vial or well plate racks are inserted in the support of the xy table on the robotic module.
• Dispensing process is started from touchscreen controller and can be paused / restarted at each moment.
• Settings for custom racks with number of containers as well as spacing can be entered.
• Instant switching between different rack configurations
