• TE Connectivity AMPLIVAR Splice Terminals
• AMPLIVAR splice terminals are designed to terminate copper/aluminum magnet wires to themselves or in combination with standard solid/lead wires. AMPLIVAR wire splices are de-insulated, eliminating the need for wire shedding. The wire barrel has sharp-edged jagged teeth that allow the magnet wire insulation to be punctured during crimping to provide a wide contact area for excellent electrical connections. At the same time, the magnet wire is pressed against the jagged teeth inside the barrel. The AMPLIVAR splice terminals crimp with excellent extension strength and exhibit vibration and corrosion resistance. When connected to the AMPLIVAR splice terminal, there is no residual material of the stripper, solder flux, or other foreign matter left behind, so high-quality electrical connections can be made. A barrel can terminate up to three magnet wires simultaneously. Copper wire/magnet wire or both can be crimped. You can also combine magnet wires with stripped solid/standard lead wires.
