SMS Series quick mating cable mount wire to board plug housings with a compact design and 'push to mate' and 'press ; release to unmate' interconnection system that enables quick assembly and installation without the need for any additional hardware. These SMS series quick mating cable mount plug connectors also feature retaining latches for positive locking, pin protection skirts to prevent damage to the contacts and positive polarization keys to prevent mismating. Versions of these SMS cable mount plug housings are also available with discrimination cavities in beween the contact cavities and integrated strain relief hoods that can accept a wide range of cables.
