It can be used for polarization experiments using various lasers.
Since it is a zero-order waveplate, the phase difference changes due to temperature and wavelength changes are small and very stable.
There are two types of wave plates: a 1/2 wave plate that can rotate the polarization direction and a 1/4 wave plate that can convert linearly polarized light into circularly polarized light.
The two elements are bonded together by optical contact, and the front and back surfaces are coated with an anti-reflection film, resulting in high transmittance.
* If light of a wavelength other than the adaptive wavelength is injected, the phase difference will not be as specified.
* If the wavelength is shifted by 1%, the phase difference between the 1/2 wave plate and the 1/4 wave plate will be 1.8 degrees and 0.9 degrees, respectively.
* The thickness of the frame (6.3 mm) may vary depending on the device specifications.
* Do not touch the screws on the waveplate frame.
* The characteristics may deteriorate or the device may fall off.
* If a strong impact is applied to the waveplate frame, the optical contact may come off and the transmittance may decrease.
