A mirror that separates the three primary colors (RGB) of light.
Since it uses non-absorbing dielectric multilayers, it can use transmitted light as well as reflected light.
If you also use this transmitted light, you can use any two of the dichroic mirrors to separate R, G, and B (Example DIM-RED+ DIM-GRE: reflection ⇒ red, reflection ⇒ green, transmission ⇒ blue).
Since the transition from transmission to reflection is rapid, it can also be used as a wavelength separation filter.
If the incident angle is varied by 0~45 degrees, it can also be used as a simple wavelength variable filter.
You can create white light by superimposing three RGB colors of light with a dichroic mirror.
B270 (R) is a registered trademark of SCHOTT AG.
* Do not use with high-power laser or high-energy pulsed laser.
* A dichroic mirror for the pulse laser is also available.
* When used as an RGB mirror, set the angle of incidence to 45 degrees.
Color separation will not be performed correctly if the camera is used at any other angle of incidence.
